The People of Nollaig
Meet the Residents
Every resident of Nollaig has an important part to play before Christmas Eve arrives. They’ve been preparing all year, quietly getting everything ready for the most important night of the year. When you visit, you’ll meet the people who call this hidden world home and discover that everyone has their own story to tell.

Father Christmas
The heart of Nollaig. Kind, patient and quietly wise, Father Christmas welcomes every family as though they’ve been expected all along. He never rushes, never forgets a face and always seems to know just the right thing to say.
“I’ve been looking forward to meeting your family.”
Nollaig
Once a curious young Irish boy who followed the Woodland Guardians into this hidden world, Nollaig has become Father Christmas’ most trusted friend. Today, he welcomes families to Nollaig, helping everyone discover that Christmas has always been about kindness, tradition and being together.
“The Woodland Guardians told me you were coming.”

Mrs Claus
If Father Christmas is the heart of Nollaig, Mrs Claus is its home. She has a remarkable way of making everyone feel comfortable from the moment they arrive, sharing stories, traditions and little moments that remind us what Christmas is really about.
“I do hope you’ll save room for gingerbread.”
The Toy Master
Although the Workshop Elves bring every toy to life, the Toymaker dreams them up. New ideas are sketched into worn notebooks, tiny details are carefully tested and every creation is made to spark imagination. The Toymaker is endlessly curious and loves hearing children’s own ideas for toys that might one day find their way into the workshop.
The Toy Master’s Apprentices
The Workshop Elves are the quiet makers of Nollaig. Every toy that leaves the workshop has passed through their careful hands, and every ribbon is tied with the hope that it will bring joy to the child who receives it. They take great pride in their work and believe that no gift is ever “just a present”, it’s the beginning of a Christmas memory. They love showing children what they’re working on and are always grateful for an extra pair of helping hands when the workshop grows busy.
The Baker
Long before dawn, the ovens are already warm. The bakery is one of the most welcoming places in Nollaig, filled with the smell of gingerbread, cinnamon and festive treats that have been made the same way for generations.
“Christmas always smells better with cinnamon.”

The Postmaster
No letter is too small and no wish is ever overlooked. The Postmaster knows every child’s name before they arrive and treats each envelope as though it contains the most important message in the world. Every now and then, a letter escapes or finds its way to the wrong basket, and visiting families are always delighted to help make sure every wish reaches Father Christmas.
Woodland Sprites
The Woodland Sprites spend their days among the forests surrounding Nollaig, caring for the ancient woodland that has protected this hidden world for generations. They know every winding path, every robin’s nest and every quiet corner where the Woodland Guardians like to gather.
The Woodland Companions
Throughout your journey, you may discover one of Nollaig’s woodland companions. These gentle little creatures have always lived alongside the Woodland Guardians and, every now and then, one chooses a family to accompany home. Some say they’re simply beautiful keepsakes. Others believe they carry a little piece of Nollaig with them, quietly reminding children that the wonder of Christmas can be found all year round.
