Long ago, a young Irish boy named Nollaig followed the Woodland Guardians through the forest and discovered a place where Father Christmas quietly prepares for Christmas Eve throughout the year. Recognising his kindness, curiosity and belief, Father Christmas welcomed him into this hidden world. Today, Nollaig welcomes every family who finds their way through the gates.

As your journey unfolds, you’ll wander through woodland paths, meet the residents of Jingle Town and become part of the traditions that have quietly prepared Christmas for generations. You’ll discover that in Nollaig, Christmas has never been built in a single night. It is created through countless small acts of kindness, shared together year after year.

Along the way, you may post a Christmas wish, lend a helping hand in the preparations for Christmas Eve and take part in traditions that have been lovingly passed from one generation to the next. Before long, you’ll discover that these traditions belong to your family too. Because Christmas has never been something we simply watch happen. It’s something we prepare for together.

Every journey leads to a personal visit with Father Christmas, where your family will be welcomed into his home to spend time together and continue a tradition that has brought families together for generations. Your journey through Nollaig lasts approximately 75 minutes and takes place across both the indoor and outdoor spaces of Elizabeth Fort. More than anything, Nollaig is an opportunity to slow down, leave the outside world behind for a little while and share in the traditions that make Christmas feel like Christmas.

Before You Arrive

We’re looking forward to welcoming your family to Nollaig. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your booked entry time to allow time for check-in before your journey begins. Upon arrival, please visit the Box Office with your booking confirmation ready. Your original digital ticket or a printed copy is required for entry. If you arrive later than your allocated time, we’ll always do our best to accommodate you, although this may mean joining the next available journey.

During Your Visit

Your journey through Nollaig lasts approximately 75 minutes and takes place across both the indoor and outdoor spaces of Elizabeth Fort. As part of the experience, you’ll spend time outdoors, so we recommend dressing warmly and wearing suitable footwear for winter weather. The pace of Nollaig is intentionally gentle. We encourage families to slow down, enjoy each moment together and take in the little details along the way.
